Vintage Burle Marx Brazilian Opal Pendant and Bruno Guidi Gold Panel Collar
Vintage Burle Marx Brazilian Opal Pendant and Bruno Guidi Gold Panel Collar
Magical, Golden.
These two are a natural pair. The Brazilian opal pendant is by famed Brazilian jeweler Haroldo Burle Marx. The gold panel collar is by Bruno Guidi, who was the chief goldsmith and lead designer for Burle Marx for decades. In fact, the collar and pendant are made to be worn together — as the collar has the signature special concealed hook to accommodate the loop that sits at the top of the pendant bail.
Both pieces are handmade in rich 18k gold, with the textured finish distinctive to Burle Marx and Bruno Guidi jewelry. We must point out that the collar is ingeniously sculptural, made with panels that are meticulously fitted together to allow movement to follow the contours of the body.
We are offering these two pieces together, but certainly, they can be worn separately. The pendant would be gorgeous on a bold scale gold chain and the collar worn with another Burle Marx or Bruno Guidi pendant with the special loop. We especially love the collar worn on its own for the utmost in sleek, minimal, golden elegance.
The pendant will be accompanied by its original box from the Altomar Collection.
We also have a Burle Marx opal bracelet that would be a fabulous companion!
Collar has safety closure.
Marked respectively for Burle Marx, Bruno Guidi, and 18k.
