Happiness. Good Luck.

Lily of the valley is an early bloomer, a herald of glorious spring after a long winter. For centuries, it has been a symbol of good luck, and for the sentimental Victorians in the language of flowers — a return to happiness.

Our sprig of lily of the valley has its origins in Russia from a bygone age, circa 1908. It is crafted in millegrained silver over gold, set with 38 white and sparkling old mine cut diamonds — perennially in bloom and fresh. We love the dimensionality of this darling brooch — see how a leaf is folded over; notice the curvature of the stems for each of the bell shaped flowers. We love experimenting with unexpected ways to wear this elegant and minimal floral brooch — add it to a headband, a sash belt, or the cuff of a sleeve as a fun “corsage.” Make this a personal talisman of good luck and joy.

Marked at the pin with Russian gold mark for 14k gold (right facing woman wearing a kokoshnik and “56”) in use 1908 to 1927.

Chain shown is not included.

Unmarked.

14k gold, silver, diamond.
