(SOLD) Antique Art Deco J.E. Caldwell & Co. Platinum and Diamond Arrow Jabot Pins with Original Box

$3,000.00
Sold

Chic, Very.

A matched pair of platinum arrow jabot pins, circa 1920. These beauties are set with 40 rose cut diamonds in millegrained edging — nestled in their original box from the venerable American jewelry firm J.E. Caldwell & Co. of Philadelphia.

Wear these arrows on collar points, at the neckline, at the cuffs of sleeves, or crossed over your heart. We love these on the cozy knits of cooler weather. Or, experiment with threading through the end loops of yellow or white metal chains — a wonderful way to extend a short chain. To open the pin, pull off the “fletching” from the shaft; to close, insert the shaft into the fletching until it “clicks.”

Marked with hand-etched inventory numbers. Original box marked for J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia.

Platinum, gold (at the back of the fletching), diamond.

Dimensions and weight:

●       37 mm long (each)

●       6.4 mm wide

●       3.2 mm deep

● .40 ctw diamond

●      5.4 grams (both pins, not including the box)

Period: Art Deco

*Please note that all dimensions and weights are approximate. Age-commensurate wear may be present.
