In the Decontructed Series, classic Victorian and Edwardian long chains are reconfigured for modern versatility. Here, a Victorian long slide chain, in an intricate belcher type link has been divided into 2 layerable chains. These chains in 14k gold of a substantial weight are getting harder and harder to find, so we were pleased to score this one. Wear one or both segments for a chain wardrobe that will span a myriad of looks.
The chains are finished on each end with open loops, custom made to fit the Luck and Lockets Lucky 8 Clasp and Charmholder. We love wearing these together, connected by the Lucky 8, suspending our favorite charms and pendants. The link is a heavier, chunkier one — a marvelous pairing for those larger Victorian lockets. Or, try wearing the shorter length to turn a brooch into a pendant.
Chains are available as a set of 2 or individually.
Lucky 8 Clasps and Charmholders, pendant and brooch shown are not included.
