(SOLD) Antique Victorian Diamond Arrow and Fleur-de-Lis Bangle
Finding the Mark.
In life, it is rare to reach one’s goals without a few twists and turns along the way. Here, a diamond arrow curves in fluid motion to find its mark — piercing a sparkling fleur-de-lis composed of a plethora of rose cut and four old mine cut diamonds set in silver over gold. The ornament sits atop a hinged bangle in classic French gold — yellow, with a touch of rose. Surely unique, this fanciful jewel is characteristically French, circa 1870. The bangle opens on a side hinge, closes securely, and includes a discreet safety chain.
Marked with French owl and swan marks.
18k gold, silver, diamond.
Dimensions and weight:
● 17 cm (6.70 inches) inside circumference (5.8 cm long x 5 cm wide)
● 19 mm wide (widest point at the fleur de lis); 7 mm wide at the bangle
● 10.8 mm deep
● 23 grams
● 2.5 ctw diamond
Period: Victorian
*Please note that all dimensions and weights are approximate. Age-commensurate wear may be present.
*For deliveries outside of the continental U.S., please contact us for shipping information.
