(SOLD) Antique Art Deco Platinum and Diamond Crescent Moon and Venus Pendant

$3,950.00
Sold

Divine, Feminine.

A diamond solitaire is held in the embrace of a diamond crescent. The moon is one of our favorite symbols — forever in transition, but constant, always returning to fullness. Here, we have a waning crescent moon, a reminder to take time for reflection and prepare for the new moon to come. She is accompanied by Venus, the morning and evening star. Two potent female symbols, together.

Fifteen old European diamonds are set in millegrained platinum — a recent conversion from a brooch. We love this worn on a vintage yellow gold chain, for a strong bi-color look. We especially adore this paired with other celestial pendants.

Chains, Lucky 8 Clasps and Charmholders, and Antique Edwardian Diamond Sunburst Brooch/Pendant shown are not included.

Unmarked.

Platinum, diamond.

Dimensions and weight:

●       36 mm long (including bail)

●       32 mm wide

● 4 mm deep

● 2.5 ctw (H/I colors, mixed clarities of mainly SI to I2 range, with a VS) (the two largest diamond are estimated .60 and .50 ct each)

●     5 grams

Period: Art Deco

*Please note that all dimensions and weights are approximate. Age-commensurate wear may be present.
